This weekend is designed for practitioners who have taken at least one Engaging Vitality Visceral module and want to both review the basics of how the visceral palpation fits into TEAM and go into further depth on some aspects of this approach. We will be addressing a gap that many practitioners encounter after taking a Visceral module - integrating these findings and concepts into their practices.
We'll begin by revisiting the palpatory and cognitive tools from the Visceral modules, including layer palpation, visceral mobility, and the relationship between visceral motility and the qi of the zangfu. We will further explore the connections between the channels and the zangfu, between listening and TEAM diagnosis, and between the motions of the organs and the fluids.
I am planning on presenting a fresh perspective on how the anatomical relationships between the various viscera and their attachments can help us understand the relationships between the various zangfu. Much of the content of the class will be determined by the desires of the particpants.
Prior to the weekend, enrolled participants will be invited to submit cases, questions, and topics they want to work through. A portion of the curriculum will be shaped by those submissions, allowing us to address the clinical challenges that are actually present in the room.
